I currently have 333 deviations in my Message Center. That's the Beast's second cousin, right?
I'm still looking for a job. There's a Gamestop nearby where I'm going to try applying. It's minimum wage, I'm betting, but at least it's something, and I know I'll enjoy the work.
I finished reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Yeah, they guy who did Sandman. He's a very good writer, very much capable of telling a good story without using the comic format, and the story made me think quite a bit about religion. One man's religion is another man's mythology, after all. The idea that America is a land that doesn't welcome Gods intrigued me, and having Ol' One Eye as a main character really made me happy, since I love Norse mythology. And there were definitely parts in the book that had me imagining what it would look like as a comic. I sort of want to draw out one of my favorite scenes if I can raise the motivation.
All in all, it's a good read. I definitely recommend it. I'm going to read the sequel involving Anansi's kids.
Peace out.
